W. J. Howard is my Woman In Horror today! She is on a bit of a break from social media because she wants to work on her projects. Nothing wrong with that. The sooner she writes more great books, the happier I'll be.

From some of Wendy's past posts:
"W. J. (Wendy) Howard writes dark stories mixed with comedy for all ages. Her main focus is creating fast-paced, action-packed stories that read like video games. Wendy appreciates unconventional methods of publishing and released the first in The Courier series, Call For Obstruction, by tweeting it on Twitter.

Wendy has loved horror since the age of four, when her grandmother let her watch the movie, The Crawling Hand. She was instantly addicted and watched every movie she could on Creature Features and Svengoolie on Chicago TV while she was growing up. Writing horror came natural, especially of the short variety.

After a few years in Catholic school and a nun who wielded a thick ruler, she grew into an obsession with good vs evil. She studies world religions and philosophy for the fun of it and her work is greatly influenced by these things."

Amazon bio:

Wendy Howard writes dark stories mixed with comedy for all ages. Her main focus is creating action-packed stories for young people with more of a mind for gaming than reading. She grew up in an average American middle-class home with her parents and two younger sisters. Today she lives near Denver, Colorado with her growing family.

At the age of twenty-two, Wendy joined the U.S. Air Force and began a career in computer technology that lasted twenty years. During eight years of military service, she spent a few years in Germany before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1990. She settled in Colorado after leaving the service and doesn’t plan to live anywhere else until the wind carries her ashes from the mountains out of the state.

Check out all of Wendy's great links. She's waiting for you to drop by. You'll find me there a lot. I know the cool people who care about the craft, and Wendy Howard is certainly one of them. To see her latest information, go to
