Just a short ditty to keep folks abreast of what I'm up to now, and for the rest of the year. First up is that I will be posting more Women In Horror posts. My previous computer needed a rest and my lovely wife, Terri DelCampo, got me a new one. I needed some time to get used to it since not all the keys are in the same place. It took me quite some time to adapt to the location of my delete key, for example. This is a very important key for me as I tend to make a lot of typing mistakes. I use the two finger approach. Bingo! That brought another problem into play. The print on the keys is smaller. I have night blindness, so I really need larger print to be able to type, even in instances of a mere shadow. Once more, Terri jumped to my aid and got me some large, bright letters and such that could be put on top of the existing keys. Now I can go at it with a lot more ease. Hence, Women In Horror will resume next week. I will be showcasing the talents of many great women horror authors.

Another big change is that I have decided not to keep any of my books in Kindle Unlimited. The experiment there was not exactly a game changer. I will be expanding the markets available for my books. Blazing Owl Press, which Terri and I co-own, will allow all our books to be available not only on Amazon but places such as Apple, Kobo, Nook, and more. To add even more availability for a reader to obtain our books, most will be available in paperback versions as well. Obviously, all our titles will not come out in the other outlets immediately, but it will be done.

Terri and I have one joint collection of short stories coming up soon. Assbiters From Hell. As you can tell by the title, this is one horrific collection. After that, both of us will be getting more novels and novellas written. I have many short stories written that I will get out at some time, but it's not a priority at the moment.

Club Blaze is on the way. This is extreme horror that Zack Kullis and I are putting out. If you love your horror down and dirty, this is for you. This will be made available everywhere. Keep your peepers open. I'll shout it out from the rooftops when it's ready to go.

I will be writing a super hero novel, or series of novellas ( I haven't decided on which yet ), called Selchor. Some of you might have seen some short stories I wrote about Selchor. This is a man who is truly on the side of the underdog. Don't think this will not be a bit on the horrific side. It will. Not everything my super-hero does is white-glove pure. There is evil to be fought, and Selchor is the man for it. He makes the rules and administers the justice.

I have four novel sequels to write and at least one novella sequel. I am finishing a novel called Last Chance which is an indigenous spiritual, adventure, and romance tale. Dogs, Skunks, And Other Runners is being completed. It's a non-fiction collection of running stories. A YA fantasy novel is finished. Say It Again, Damn It! is a long coming-of-age novel about strength, betrayal, and brutality. The protagonist is a snarky, independent guy I think you'll like.

Now, I have to add that not everything above will be published this year. Club Blaze, Selchor, and Assbiters From Hell are up for sure. The others will be written, but I'll need to figure out slots for them. I have 30 something books up on Amazon now. I want to get my books everywhere I can. Then I'll add in the others.

I'll be catching you around, my friends.

  1. WOW! All great stuff I am more than looking forward too! I gave up on Kindle Unlimited early March. For someone like me, who hasn't published much of my stuff, it's strangling. Fuck Amazon!!

    1. Thanks for your kind remarks, Wendy! Yes, Amazon is huge, but it's not great to be stuck with them only. They're just one piece in the book selling puzzle
