Quinn Cullen is my Woman In Horror today! Quinn blends genres, combining horror, poetry, erotica, and paranormal romance. There are three books below that Quinn is in, either as a stand alone author, or as part of a collection. From Dusk til Dawn, a romance anthology with erotica sprinkled in, will be out soon, and she has a story in it which is great. Also, Quinn has been working on a great novel for some time now, as well as a novella. And, I'm trying to convince her to publish other tales as well.

Quinn loves to spread the word about other authors. You can see that in the picture of her I have here where she is holding Heath Stallcup's book up.

Also, and I think this is pretty important, Quinn is one of my editors, and is doing the formatting for my novel '68 Buick. I don't pick just anyone to edit my books.

The first book I want to mention is Carnal Justice:

Book Description

January 14, 2015
No one helped Kate when she was young and vulnerable. Not one person was brought to justice for crimes committed against her. Molested and forced into cannibalism, years later, Kate, along with a few trusted friends, lend a new meaning to the word ‘justice’. Thanks to Kate, pedophiles and rapists, are tried, convicted, and executed, never escaping her ‘Carnal Justice’.

I gave the story three stars instead of four because I think the characters could have been a lot more developed. It was hard to feel anything for the group of ladies, despite knowing they were victims in the past.

The sex scene in the beginning through me off...I was expecting horror, not elaborate erotica. BUT, it was written fairly well.

I found this story through a HORROR search, but I didn't feel that it was very horrific, even with the cannabalism.

I liked the story, but I think there could have been more to it.

Most folks would be thrown off by a Three Star review. Not me. I like the fact it is honest in how this lady feels and the fact she likes the story. That's what counts. I might not agree with everything she said, but after all, this is a short story and can be fleshed out more in a sequel or series of sequels, which I believe can come out of this tale. I consider this to be a good review.

The next book is an anthology  The Bloody Book Of Grotesque Love:

The Sentinel's Bride, by Quinn,  led off this anthology. This story is on the cutting edge of horror, but Quinn blends in her wonderful brand of erotica to such a point that the reader is drawn completely into the tale, feeling the pain, the torture, but also the exquisite beauty of the love scenes. Owl's Head, another one of her stories, is also in this anthology.

Love's Peripeteias is my next book to showcase:

February 3, 2014
Love’s Peripeteias is a throng of poetry that covers the gamut of relationship experience. From a relationship’s sunrise to sunset, there is a piece for everyone to enjoy. This is NOT your typical collection of ‘love’ poems, but rather, an eclectic array of personal experience that will captivate your heart. Whether you have loved and lost or you have lost love, if you have been hurt to the point of no return, or if you are still madly in love with your soul mate, “Love’s Peripeteias” is a coffee table compilation you will share with friends and family for years to come.

I've never read these authors before and all I can say is Wow. This anthology of works was heart wrenching at times, you can definitely tell the authors put their heart and soul into it. I wanted to cry a couple times from the emotions I had, I even chuckled a few times. All in all, this is something I will be reading multiple times, it is most definitely worth the price and more. Visionary Press Cooperative, please do another with all the authors again.

Wings Of Destiny and Devastates Me are the superb poems Quinn has in this collection.

Quinn has more books on the way for her fans! Keep your eyes peeled!
Without any doubt, Quinn Cullen is a Woman In Horror!

  2. Nothing to be humbled about, Quinn. You write great horror and do so much more for the community of authors and publishing. You deserve this and more.
