TIDES OF CHAOS - BY LORI R. LOPEZ & BLAZE MCROB - IS OUT!

http://www.amazon.com/Tides-Chaos-Blaze-McRob-ebook/dp/B019YZ9JS0/ref=sr_1_2_twi_kin_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1451492616&sr=1-2&keywords=tides+of+chaos

Tides Of Chaos is a short story written by Lori R. Lopez and me back in 2010. It is out in Kindle version now for only .99. The paper version, an illustrated tome with Lori's fantastic art within, will be out soon. You won't want to miss that. This is a fantastic blend of horror/sci-fi/humor/and fantasy. Neither of us knew what was going to happen next as we wrote this. That's why I believe it has a special touch to it. It tells the tale of a planet run amuck, horrors abounding everywhere. I believe that within the pages of this book, there is truth . . . truth even more apparent now than when we first wrote this.

This is a story geared for all readers from twelve years and up. The language is not peppered with obscenities.

Thank you for your time. I hope you will take a look at what Lori and I have written.

WOMEN IN HORROR MONTH

http://www.womeninhorrormonth.com/

A while back I wrote a post on Blazing Owl Press about Women in Horror Month. http://www.blazingowlpress.com/2015/11/women-in-horror-month-will-be-here.html. I have a few things to add to it here. As many of you know, I start early with the great Women in Horror, and I go well past the end of February. Some authors claim that it is no longer necessary for such a month as there is parity in the publishing and other artistic venues in which women shine. I disagree. Without getting into the nitty-gritty of world conditions and some negative political crap being bandied about, there is still plenty of reason to tell the world about great women authors. Maybe even more. Perhaps strides have been taken forward, but one must always be aware that the status quo can indeed be fickle. And, the visual acuity can be flawed to begin with.

So, I will not slack off. I feel this is a very important way for women to be showcased, their artistic abilities told to one and all. I will once again be a humble servant for the cause.

This year I will change a few things. In the past, I have listed almost every book an author has on her Amazon Author Page. I have been told this is overkill: one cannot see the forest for the trees, so to speak. I will, of course, have the Amazon Author Page links, pictures, and bios on the posts, but I will focus on select books where I believe the author shines the most. And yes, I will give links to Facebook Author pages, and those to the authors' websites.

Also, if an author wishes to say anything about recent book releases or upcoming events, she will most certainly be allowed to.

Thus, this is an open invitation for any Woman In Horror to let me know if she wishes to be on my website. I can accommodate pretty much whatever you wish me to do. This is free promotion for all of you. My Google search engine reach is into the millions. I have hundreds of thousands of hits on my website.  I also relay the posts to Twitter, my Author Page on Facebook, and my personal Facebook page.

Contact me here or Private Message me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/blaze.mcrob.

I'm looking forward to meeting some super women this year. There are so many of you.

Thank you.

BLAZE MCROB AMAZON AUTHOR PAGE

http://www.amazon.com/Blaze-McRob/e/B006XJ1I94/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1451314165&sr=1-2-ent

I thought I'd slap this post up today for those of you who don't know who I am or what I write. I was a ghostwriter for many years, so I can't talk about those books, but these are the ones I have written in my new incarnate as Blaze McRob. Most of what my Amazon Author page shows are short stories in anthologies and the like. However, you will notice a recent novel, Mists Of Papoose Pond, some individual short stories, and a couple recent duo collections for the past two holidays that I wrote with my wife, Terri DelCampo. I have at least four novels coming out in 2016, as well as some other projects. I also have short stories plastered around all over the place that you can read for free.

Read the free samples on Amazon and get to know me if you wish.

Thank you.

LITTLE DEAD RED - BY MERCEDES M. YARDLEY - OUT TODAY!

http://www.amazon.com/Little-Dead-Red-Mercedes-Yardley-ebook/dp/B019PE2UAO/ref=sr_1_1?tag=geolinker-20&s=digital-text

Little Dead Red, by Mercedes M. Yardley, is out today. Mercedes' tales are dark with superb flow. She is indeed a master at the craft.

From Joe Mynhardt at Crystal Lake Publishing, this great novella's publisher:

"The Wolf is roaming the city in this brand new Crystal Lake Publishing release, and he must be stopped.

Grim Marie knows far too much about the wolves of the world, a world where little girls go missing.  After all, she had married one before she/he showed his claws, and what that wolf did to her little girl was unforgiveable. Grim Marie isn’t certain if she can ever forgive herself for putting her Little Aleta in harm’s way.

When Grandmother becomes ill, Aleta offers to take the bus through the concrete forest to Grandmother’s house to bring her some goodies. She knows the way. What could possibly go wrong?

In this modern day retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf takes to the city streets to capture his prey, but the hunter is close behind him. With Grim Marie on the prowl, the hunter becomes the hunted.

Wolves pad through the darkest kind of fairytale: one that can come true."

By Adrian Shotbolt on December 22, 2015 As a father of two, this was a very difficult novella to read. Mercedes tale of Aleta, a young girl whom is abducted and brutally murdered is an emotionally draining read. It's a grown up version of Little Red Riding Hood that is brilliant in its originality and emotional punch. Mercedes has a wonderful way with words, her writing style seems effortless and has a great flow to it. This novella is the perfect way to introduce yourself to this writer. It ticks all the boxes for what makes a great short story. It's not an easy read due to the dark undercurrent that flows throughout and the ending is a heartbreaker. Regardless, this is a fantastic read. 5 stars

                                                             *    *    *    *

You won't want to miss this dark fairy-tale. Perfect fit for your Kindle.

DANCERS - BY WILLIAM MEIKLE

https://williammeikleblog.wordpress.com/2015/12/18/dancers-a-winter-ghost-story/

From William Meikle:

I mentioned DANCERS earlier in the week, my first ghost story, written back in ’91, and one which won me 100 quid in the Writer’s News Ghost Story competition and has had a life of its own ever since. It’s been pinched several times and can easily be found online, so why not read it here, where it belongs.

William Meikle is quite a prolific author, and one whose works I am particularly fond of. Hit the link above and read Dancers. It's free, and it's great.

Book description:

Merlin the Magician only exists in myth and legend – at least that’s what archaeology student Jason Carpenter thought until he discovered the mysterious orb that had housed history’s greatest wizard for 1,600 years.

Forced into an uneasy alliance, Jason and Merlin are sucked into a web of deceit, intrigue and murder that sends them on a chaotic race to outwit, and out run, Merlin’s ancient nemesis, the evil sorceress Morgana le Fay, her gang of drug smugglers and a 500 year-old Chinese necromancer. Tis a race against time to complete their quest before an army of dragons are unleashed on a vulnerable and unsuspecting 21st century world.

Editorial Reviews

Review

I was delighted to read Revelations: book one of The Merlin Chronicles by Daniel Diehl. This is an intriguing novel that made me lose track of time while reading. I enjoyed the suspenseful drama and creativity of this book. The characters were impressive, especially Merlin and Morgana. Morgana was a real psycho, and Diehl developed her malicious personality perfectly, which made this story more entertaining. The descriptive sequence of events connected well. I thought the conclusion was great, and hope for the opportunity to read book 2 in the series.

I’m a huge fan of Arthurian fantasy, and this one I found absolutely Amazing.

The way Daniel captured Merlin and chuck him into the 21st century, was superb. He’s characters are extremely well developed, Jason being our MC, and archaeologist that dug up an orb, dated back a time when those orbs weren’t found. The orb carried Merlin’s essence and I’m sure you can get the picture how this story starts.

I’m not going to give anything away from this novel. It’s one worth buying and you won’t be disappointed. I can promise you that.

I personally love it when a fantasy is realistic and Daniel has written it beautiful.

I couldn’t put it down.

The Gift, by Beverly Cialone, is a Christmas themed tale unlike any others you have read. This is a romance/fantasy/paranormal story. Beverly did extensive research while writing this and found out some very interesting things about Djinn. Yes, this is a story about genies. Ooh, la, la! I have never written a Djinn tale, although I want to, and Beverly shared some great links with me. So, now I will be armed.

The world of publishing is more than a little bewildering these days, with new options for publishing and a greater need than ever for writers to know how to market their work and promote themselves. Although this book is a mixed bag, the info that is helpful in this volume far outweighs the fluff, and is worth much more than the price of the book. If you're just starting out as a writer you NEED to read this book. If you're a pro with sales under your belt or are self-publishing your work, you'll find resources in here to increase your sales and fan base. There's great practical advice on the act of writing, being a writer (acting professionally), how and where to promote yourself, etc. from writers of books and movies, from veterans and fairly new success stories, from reviewers and editors. No matter what level you're on as a writer, you'll learn something worth learning.

As another wannabe horror writer who always appreciates advice from the pros, Crystal Lake Publishing's Horror 101:The Way Forward was hard to resist. Joe Mynhardt has collected a slew of invaluable advice from some of the biggest names in horror as well as some of the new blood that is surely on their way to becoming well respected horror authors.

I am old enough to be of the classic On Writing Horror school, so much of the advice in here is simply hammered home again, but with updated views and fresh voices. Jack Ketchum, Graham Masterson, and Edward Lee begin the parade of great advice with their own beliefs on the horror genre. Ramsey Campbell gives some great advice on avoiding whats been done before, Steve Rasnic Tem gives a dozen solid tips on making a career, and Rocky Wood invites us to the Horror Writers Association. These well respected, and well known authors give solid advice that is fresh to hear again in their respective voices.

Writing has changed so much since the above mentioned classic that there needed to be something new to answer questions by writers, like me, who are realizing how vital the digital age is to a successful writing career. I am one of those writers who has no problem getting through a draft or two, but I get to the editing part and... oh look a butterfly is dancing around the garden outside my window... I can address my problems as a writer, but I am still fairly new to Facebook and the digital age. After years of telling myself how ridiculous Facebook and Twitter is, I have come to realize how vital it can be if used correctly. Many of the newer authors in this book have been active in the digital age for some time and I have picked up vital advice from authors I was somewhat familiar with, like Shane McKenzie, Michael Arnzen, Lucy Snyder,Tim Waggoner, and Scott Nicholson.

I was also more than pleasantly surprised by the advice from authors like Jasper Bark, Weston Ochse, Blaze McRob, and a few others whose writing was so good for this anthology of advice, that I will surely be looking forward to reading more from them and have already added many of them to my mental list of authors to check out.

As a struggling wannabe writer, I have to applaud and thank Joe Mynhardt, not only for his great advice within the pages of his anthology, but for taking the time to put this book together. The time he must have spent talking to these authors, putting it all together, and editing it must have been exhausting and I'm sure he cussed himself out for beginning such a detailed and extensive project. At the end, he has created a classic that any writer, not just us horror junkies, can call upon for advice and inspiration.

Thanks Joe!

THE BOY WHO KILLED SANTA CLAUS

Seven year old Henry Childers crawled reluctantly under the covers of his bed. “But, Mom,” he whined, “I’m not sleepy. Can’t I stay up a few more hours?”
“It’s almost ten already,” his mother Tonya said with an indulgent smile. “If you don’t get to sleep, Santa won’t stop here tonight.”
“Do you think Santa got my letter this year?” Henry asked, sitting up against the headboard.
“I’m sure he did, honey.”
“’Cause I don’t want it to be like last year.”
Tonya sighed heavily and rubbed at her temples. She’d been hearing this same tirade from her son for an entire year now. “Henry, there was nothing wrong with what you got from Santa last year.”
“I asked for an XBox, and he gave me a Playstation. It’s not the same.”
“As I’ve told you a hundred times, maybe Santa was all out of XBoxes,” Tonya said, pulling the covers up to just under Henry’s chin. She and her husband had gone to every store in the city looking for an XBox last year, but they’d all been sold out. It had been a Playstation or nothing, but still it hadn’t satisfied Henry.
“I mailed my letter in October last year,” Henry said. “That gave him plenty of time to have his elves whip me up an XBox.”
“Henry,” Tonya said, a little more sharply than she’d intended, “you’re being awfully ungrateful. There are children in the world who have nothing. If you don’t start being more appreciative, Santa may decide to just skip our house altogether.”
“Okay,” Henry said, his lower lip poked out like a shelf. “I’m sorry.”
“Just get to sleep,” Tonya said, leaning over and kissing her son on the forehead. “When you wake up in the morning, you just might find that bike you’ve been wanting waiting under the tree.”
“You think Santa will like the cookies and milk we left for him?” Henry asked.
“I’m sure he’ll think they’re delicious. I’ll see you in the morning, sweetie.”
Tonya turned off the light, the small nightlight plugged into the electrical socket by the closet throwing a muted yellow glow throughout the room. She eased the door closed, leaving Henry to dream of Christmas morning.
* * *
Do you think it’s safe to start?” Jonas Childers asked his wife. They were sitting in the living room, watching a SciFi channel marathon of the Silent Night Deadly Night films.
Tonya glanced at the clock, saw that it was just past one o’clock in the morning. “He should be sound asleep by now,” she said. “I think we can get started.”
“Good,” Jonas said. “It’ll probably take me ‘til dawn to get that bike put together.”
They went up to the attic, careful to avoid all the squeakiest boards, and brought down all of Henry’s presents. Tonya began arranging all the smaller gifts around the tree while Jonas unfolded the instructions for the bike and began assembling it.
“Shit,” Jonas cursed under his breath, trying to fit together two pieces that simply refused to fit together. “As much trouble as this is, Henry better like this damn bike.”
Tonya knelt next to her husband, took the uncooperative pieces and easily snapped them together. “Are you kidding? He’ll absolutely love it.”
“He better. I don’t want to have to go through another year hearing him bitch and moan like he did about that damn Playstation.”
“It did get a bit tiresome,” Tonya said with a giggle. “But Henry just wants what he wants, and he won’t settle for anything else.”
“Like mother, like son.”
Tonya swatted her husband on the arm. “That’s not true. I settled for you, after all.”
“Very funny,” Jonas said. “How about you settle for passing me those cookies.”
Tonya had baked a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies, half of which her family had eaten, the other half of which had been placed on a plate for Santa. She took the plate and handed it to her husband, who immediately scarfed down two of the cookies.
“Careful,” Tonya said, reading over the instructions. “You keep that up, you’ll soon be fat as Santa.”
“This isn’t for me,” Jonas said around a mouthful of cookie, spewing crumbs like a fine mist. “It’s for Henry. Think how disappointed he’d be if he woke up and saw that Santa hadn’t eaten the cookies he left for him.”
“Don’t talk with your mouth full,” Tonya said with a smile.
“Hand me the milk, please.”
They did not leave out a glass of milk for Santa since that would curdle, but they placed it in a thermos to keep it cold. Tonya passed the thermos to her husband.
Jonas popped the top of the thermos and gulped down several swallows of the milk. Suddenly he retched, spitting milk into the air like a geyser, the thermos dropping from his hand and leaking its contents onto the carpet. Jonas clutched at his throat, making strangled gagging noises as milk and blood dribbled down his chin.
Tonya screamed and grabbed her husband as he collapsed onto her lap. His body was jerking with violent spasms, his eyes rolled up to the whites. He coughed violently, and more frothy blood sprayed Tonya’s arms, and she thought there were chunks of tissue mixed with it.
“Oh God, Jonas,” she screamed, crying. “What’s wrong? What should I do?”
“What’s going on?” Henry said, stepping into the room wearing his pajamas, rubbing the sleep dust from his eyes. “I heard screaming.”
“Henry, get the phone and call 911,” Tonya yelled frantically. “Something is wrong with your father; he needs an ambulance right away.”
“What is it?” Henry asked, wide-eyed, stepping further into the room.
“Henry, call 911 NOW!”
Henry started to turn toward the phone, but then he spotted the spilled thermos of milk and froze. “Did Dad drink the milk?” he asked, snatching up the thermos and waving it at his mother.
“What?” Tonya said, feeling her husband’s spasms tapering off, afraid to contemplate what that might mean. “Your father needs help.”
“Did Dad drink the milk?” Henry said again, his old stubborn self. “This milk was for Santa Claus, not for Dad.”
“Henry!” Tonya screamed, desperate tears of frustration and helplessness streaking her face. “This isn’t the time—”
“THIS MILK WAS FOR SANTA CLAUS, NOT FOR DAD!” Henry roared, throwing the thermos across the room.
A numbness began to spread throughout Tonya’s body, starting in her chest and reaching out through her limbs. Comprehension came slowly, and it made her feel cold inside. Cold and empty.
“What did you do?” she croaked, her voice raw and raspy. “Henry, what did you do to the milk?”
“I poured Drain-O in it,” he said matter-of-factly, as if stating that he’d brushed his teeth.
Tonya was on her feet in an instant, the still form of her husband stretched out on the floor. She grabbed Henry by the shoulders and shook him, shook him hard. “Why would you do such a thing?” she shouted into his face. “Why in the name of God would you do such a thing?”
“I wanted an XBox!” Henry shouted back, wrenching out of his mother’s grasp. “Not a Playstation, an XBox, and Santa knew that. He knew that, and he gave me the wrong thing anyway. I wanted to teach him a lesson, make him pay for giving me the wrong gift last year.”
Tonya stumbled back, hands to her mouth, and watched as her son turned and ran back to his room, slamming the door behind him. She snatched up the phone and quickly dialed 911 while Santa chopped up a topless teenager on the television behind her.

This is a fun book for those who love to use the "F" word. I was surprised that my two teens really liked this book, laughing at the different "Frickin" terms. Recommend it as a novelty book for a doctor's office, bathroom reading or as a stocking stuffer or birthday gift. Rated PG-13.

This book is hilarious! I'm still laughing at some of the ways people in other parts of the country use the word 'frickin'. If you want to laugh out loud this is the book to get! I do recommend not reading it in the library or someplace that would frown on LOLing because you are going to be doing a lot of it.

 Luna Masterton sees demons.

She has been dealing with the demonic all her life, so when her brother gets tangled up with a demon named Sparkles, ‘Luna the Lunatic’ rolls in on her motorcycle to save the day.

Armed with the ability to harm demons, her scathing sarcasm, and a hefty chip on her shoulder, Luna gathers the most unusual of allies, teaming up with a green-eyed heroin addict and a snarky demon ‘of some import.’

After all, outcasts of a feather should stick together...even until the end.

This is volume one in The Bone Angel Trilogy by Mercedes M. Yardley, author of the award-winning novella Apocalyptic Montessa and Nuclear Lulu: A Tale of Atomic Love.

By Todd Keisling on January 30, 2014

I won't recap the plot because you owe it to yourself to discover it on your own. All you need to know going into this is that the story walks a fine line between light and shadow, heartache and triumph. Are there demons? Oh yes. Some of them are amusing; others are terrifying--and caught in the middle is Luna Masterson, the smartass, hard-edged, and entirely likeable protagonist.

What I enjoyed most about novel is its pacing and the author's style. The book is plotted well enough that you'll find difficulty in putting it down. Seriously. I finished the latter 50% of this book in a single sitting.

Although Yardley's style has been described as "whimsical," I personally think "disarming" is a better way to describe it. The prose is light, quick, snappy--and catches you off guard when the darkness seeps up from the cracks, bringing with it all sorts of nasty, vile things filled with hate and malice. Yardley utilizes this to great effect, structuring the plot around a series of escalating events that put Luna through the motions until you're left wondering if she can hold it together.

Can she?

I'm not telling--but what I will tell you is that Mercedes Yardley's debut novel does not disappoint. Why not step into the shadows and find out for yourself?
By Donald C Brawley on January 16, 2014
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
With her debut novel, Mercedes Yardley proves she can sustain a longer narrative. Her "Beautiful Sorrows" is a favorite, but short stories and novels are so different that just because someone can do one, doesn't mean that they can do the other. Well, Mercedes can do both. The story of humans vs. demons is as old as religion and while enjoyable, for me the enjoyment comes more from how the narrator Luna describes the events of the story. She's sarcastic and I love her and in the depths of horrific events, she comes up with a turn of phrase or a way of describing events that you want to crack up. Then the next paragraph you're getting ready to cry, because unlike a lot of horror writer's Yardley's characters are more than meat puppets waiting to be snuffed for entertainment purposes. The ending is an example of how Mrs. Yardley can make you dread what's coming, break your heart, and make you love it!

Book description:

A 3rd collection of tales from the crypt of Robert W. Walker. Hauntings, banshees, incubi, nightmares, phobias, cyborg disease, hit men, serial killers, vampires, and more. The range of these 10 stories is wide and inclusive of many genres. Each story packs a one-two punch and will leave the reader questioning what it means to be human from A Snitch in Time to Human Error and Bed Bait & Beyond, these tales skewer what we think we know and supplant it with what we should have known from sentence one to end. From House of Voices to the choices each character makes in the dark, there is a search for the light, but light does not always come and seldom in the exact expectation of the characters or the readers for that matter. If you liked One Step Beyond or The Twilight Zone, if you like O'Henry endings, you will appreciate Walker's twisting ride on a book of stories that take flight into the darker regions of the human heart and soul.

“…hilarious and horrifying, as all great satire must be. An interpretation so left of field that its concept alone must be celebrated.” – Clive Barker

“Mark Allan Gunnells' imagination is as vivid and varied as his characters, and the shocks his tales deliver are all the stronger for the restraint of his storytelling. A collection of considerable range and depth, Flowers in a Dumpster showcases an eloquent new voice in horror.” – Ramsey Campbell

"What I love about Mark Allan Gunnells’ stories isn’t just the chill factor, or the wit, or the dramatic turns – although those things are all present – but the compassion inherent in the storytelling. Whether it’s a couple touching hands as they approach an ominous house or a gruff husband giving in to his wife’s kindness, the rich humanity is what makes these stories so effective and memorable." – Lisa Morton, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of GHOSTS: A HAUNTED HISTORY.

“Gunnells’ work is brave, bold, and surprising, and as far as I’m concerned, “The Support Group” is worth the price of admission alone. If, like me, you adore short story collections, you could do a hell of a lot worse than this one. The breadth and scope of horror on display here is delightful, and marks Gunnells as one of the bright stars in the dark sky of our genre.” – Kealan Patrick Burke, Bram Stoker Award winning author of The Turtle Boy, Kin, and Sour Candy

“Flowers in the Dumpster is filled with solid stories from an author who knows his craft. I was thrilled to find surprising gems sprinkled throughout. Highly recommended.” – Kate Jonez, Bram Stoker (R) and Shirley Jackson Award nominated author of Ceremony of Flies and Candy House.

Come pick a bouquet from these Flowers in a Dumpster.

All the best,

Book description:

Monster
Hidden away from society by his criminal father, there lives a man who has never entered the outside world. Now, having taken over his father’s business, he has all the money and power he could dream of, yet still he refuses to let himself be viewed by the rest of society.

Lily
Traumatised by an event in her past, Lily Drayton has a phobia of being touched. Though she helps people externally with her skills as a laser therapist, she refuses to let anyone in, emotionally or physically. When Lily is kidnapped on the way home from work one evening, she discovers she’s not the only person who keeps themselves cut off from the rest of the world.

Defaced
A man owns her now—a man both dangerous and enigmatic. Drawn by his dual beauty and hidden pain, he awakens something inside her, something she believed was long dead. Brought to a room without windows, she’s given an impossible task: to make her owner acceptable to the outside world.

Can altering his face change who he is as a man, or is he truly a monster, both inside and out?

Format: Kindle Edition
A huge thank you to Marissa Farrar for the ARC of this book. As usual I am left bereft at having the book end and looking forward to more.

Two people holding themselves apart from the world, each for different reasons. Monster has never been farther than the boarders of his own property. A life of being told he was less than human and living with a father who makes him feel his birthmark is something to hide. Lily holds onto a terrible secret that keeps her emotionally detached while holding everyone at arms length.

When Monster has to change his business dealings and chance venturing out into the big bad world he kidnaps his best chance at appearing to the world without the birthmark that has secreted him away his whole life. What he doesn't expect is the way she makes him feel.

Lily is abducted, beaten, treated less than human and finds herself a prisoner by the man who paid to have her abducted. She should hate him. She should want to hurt him. She should... but she doesn't.

This is a gripping tale of the journey that brings these two together. I highly recommend this book and anxiously look forward to the next chapter in this trilogy!

This is the first book I've read by this author. It's her first dark story and I totally loved it.

Apart from reading a few teasers I basically jumped into this story blind and I'm so glad I did. The author had me gripped from start to finish. The writing is flawless and I liked how the author added her own uniqueness to the storyline.

The characters came across as real to me and I could understand their pain and fears.

Monster has been held captive all his life. He only knows what his father has taught him. He has grown up believing he's a monster.

Lily is kidnapped and held captive. She has known a life of solitude as her memories keep her in the past. She keeps everyone at a distance.

Both Monster and Lily are hurting from the past. Neither are sure how to move on. Can they help each other or will they cause even more pain for one another??

This book has dark themes so it isn't for the faint hearted. Having said that I thought the author did a great job and I'm looking forward to reading more of Monster and Lily's story.
