The Shadow Soldier, by Becca Boucher, is not only a great book, but all proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project. This is true for the Kindle ebook as well as the paper back version.

Sadly, a friend of Becca, an 18 year old girl in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, Keely R. Walsh, was killed in a car accident on her way to Guard Drill. Wow! This is overpowering. I have the obituary notice link above. Her Mom suggests one of the Memorial Donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in her daughter's name. If you wish to do so on your own, it would be great.

Also, if you want to buy a copy of either version of this great book, we can send the information on to Keeley's Mom and the Wounded Warriors for you. The ebook is only .99 and the entire amount goes to the Wounded Warriors Project. The same is true of the paper back which is only $4.19. All the money goes to this great organization as well. You can purchase at the Amazon links above. This way you get a great book and the Wounded Warriors Project, in Keely's memory, gets all the money. You can send us your name and we can forward the information. If you wish to remain anonymous, that is okay too. Rest assured that the full purchase price goes to the Wounded Warriors. I will pick up all expenses.

Becca and I both feel strongly about this cause. It was her idea to donate the proceeds to the Wounded Warriors Project and I agreed. Visionary Press Collaborative and I will be sending copies of the paper version to Becca so she can sign for this super organization, and to honor her friend.

A little bit of money can go a long way and do a lot of good. If you have any questions you can contact me at bigultraman@aol.com or my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/blaze.mcrob .

Thank you.

The Shadow Soldier By Becca Boucher
Synopsis: When a soldier is lost in the snowy mountains of Afghanistan, another soldier shoulders the blame, while a young woman feels his loss thousands of miles away in Boston's Back Bay. Can a mysterious man bridge the gap and help the two heal?
My Review: With Veteran's day around the corner, I cannot think of a better book to read! Ms Boucher takes us through the Love, The sacrifices, The loyalty , The Bravery and The deepest feelings of an Army Ranger in Afghanistan , His Girlfriend, his best friend and a "Shadow Soldier" who is the guiding hand in this story. It is very fast paced , action packed and sometimes devastating... yes I cried.. It is such a touching story of what our Soldiers go through and what the people left behind must face. VERY well written I give this Book 5 Beers and a coke... (I changed it a little but read the book and you'll see)

Not the first book offered to us by this author and certainly not the last. Great read, I loved how easily she wove the story together and made me feel the words. How the courage and the tears just flowed off the pages. A wonderful display of ability and deep regard for those who serve.

Heroes: a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities. Rebecca Boucher seems to have a flair for writing stories about our military heroes and The Shadow Soldier is no exception. Add a little paranormal in the mix and you have one awesome short story. I've never been in the military, never had a brother or sister serve, so I can't feel the angst that comes with having to say goodbye to a loved one and travel overseas to protect our rights or to help others protect theirs. Rebecca is spot on with this story. Dread, grief, and a little bit of happiness prevail in The Shadow Soldier. I seriously wonder how many of our brothers and sisters truly have a Shadow Soldier walking with them? Rebecca makes it seem as though they all do. Well done, Rebecca, well done. Oh, and I learned also that all proceeds of this sale are going to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Okay, I'll admit it. I cried. A lot. The Shadow Soldier is a well written, fast paced story that hits home. I know from experience what it feels like to be afraid your soldier isn't coming home, and this story hits that nail on the head. There are no further words for how I can explain this, or review it, and to me at least that is the best possible review I can give, when a story leaves you speechless and utterly wordless, you know it's good.

Well done Becca, well done.
