I'm posting this here in advance of my novel Ghost No More which will be published in 2015. All the proceeds will be going to autistic children. This is not a children's book. It is hard-core horror, but the heroes in my tale are Autistic children. I call them the Chosen Ones, and they certainly are. Not only will the money be going to a super cause, but the children are super heroes in this novel, the same as they are in real life. I can't say for sure, but I believe this is the first book where this is done.

Now we come to another totally unique concept. Instead of the money going to organizations that a lot of times spin their wheels and do not come up with answers that actually help the children, I will be giving the funds to mothers who have found ways to help their children and succeeded. I have chosen four women. One in Canada, one in the United States, one in Ireland, and one in England. Each of these fantastic ladies uses a different approach with their children. I wish to help them with funding which is being cut short as they constantly have to juggle many facets of life. I will not divulge the names of these ladies. If at some point they wish to tell their stories, that will be fine.

As with many other things in the real world, there is no one approach that fits every person. We are individuals. As such, we should not be viewed as test subjects.  Autism need not be what many people think it is. I think positively about these children. They are all special. We need to work together to bring out their inner genius.

Thank you. And thank you ladies for doing such a great job!
