Gloria Bobrowicz is my Woman In Horror today! Let it be known that Gloria is not an easy lady to track down when it comes to personal things . . . things like a picture for example. Also, she stays pretty much out of the limelight, even though she is one of the fantastic co-owners at Sirens Call Publications, where she is the Editor-In-Chief. I have posted a number of books that she has edited below.

I did manage to find a story she wrote for The Sirens Call WiHM 2014 Issue #13. This is The Second Annual Women In Horror Recognition Month Issue. Her story is titled Seeing.

I stole the below description from the pages of Sirens Call Publications. I wonder if I can get arrested for that.

Gloria Bobrowicz

Gloria is the Editor-In-Chief for Sirens Call Publication and Pink Pepper Press. If you are sending a piece to us for consideration, Gloria is the first voice you’ll hear from. She responds to all submissions, and is our first line of defense. While bubbly and super friendly, with the patience of a saint, push her too far and you will get a little nip.

Gloria is also a freelance editor. In her spare time she reads for pleasure without her red pen, and devotes much of herself to her family. She has been a huge horror fan since she was a child, and loves books related to true crime – particularly the serial killer variety.

You can reach Gloria on Facebook, Twitter, or by email at the following:

Since I am in a thieving mood, I took this from the Sirens Call Publications Facebook page.

Purveyors of Edgy Fiction
Here at Sirens Call Publications, we fervently believe in the gift of a brilliant book and we're always on the lookout for new talent. If you can show us creativity, originality and a desire to share the stories you spin, then we want to help you succeed in the publishing world.

The only constraint is you. Sirens Call Publications has very few restrictions. We are open to publishing and promoting all genres and styles of writing; if our submission guidelines are adhered to and your story leaps off the page and sings its song to our imaginations, then it may very well find a home here at Sirens Call Publications. You weave the tale and we'll do all that we can to make it a success.

This post is not as long as most of my other ones, but it is only do to the cloak and dagger concealment skills of Gloria. I am definitely impressed with her many skills to bring the best in horror to everyone.

  1. That's one great woman you found to feature, Blaze! :)

    1. Great woman indeed, Nina! I don't know why it took me so long to feature her. It must be because she is shy about her own accomplishments. No one can hide from me forever. Gloria is a wonderful lady!
