Micheál Ó Coinn, an Irish poet with some New Jersey in him, is joining Visionary Press Cooperative as our Poetry Director. Not only will he be adding his skills as a great Poet, he will be working with us to add songs, audio books, art work to add to his poems, and screen and stage plays to what we have now. I am so stoked up to have this kind, gentle man join us. I love his poetry, and I know you will too. Also, his vision fits right in with what we aim to be at Visionary Press Cooperative. We refuse to be mediocre; we wish to be many things to many people. Our name says it all, and our members say even more.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/quinn227?fref=ts and wish my friend a Happy New Year, and tell him how proud you are of him.

Micheál Ó Coinn can also be found at his blog http://www.mocwriter.org/. And now, me lads and lassies, he will be found at Visionary Press Cooperative.

For a Press which started out as horror only, we are embracing almost every genre. Why? Why not? If you go to a book signing and buy a book from an author for yourself or a friend, you are happy. What about the poet side of you, or the friend who loves poetry.? What if you buy a book for yourself but not for your children? What if the author signing books, or the Amazon or Smashwords sites shows all the other books you can buy? Something for everyone. I do book signings and love to have my friend's books along with me as well. I'll wheel and deal. "Buy my book, and get any of these other books for free." All of us are not in a position to do this, but it adds to the appeal of a Press, and says a lot about the author.

As for me, I write some nasty horror, but I love other books as well. I have won awards for poetry. I love a well written poem. Now we have a master with us. Micheál and I will do our damnedest to make sure you read the finest poetry. You have our word on that.

2014 will be a banner year for Micheál Ó Coinn and Visionary Press Cooperative.

Happy New Year!

Blaze McRob
