"Horror doesn't have a gender. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere." ~ Julianne Snow

Julianne Snow is my Woman In Horror today!Julianne is a great author as well as a wonderful editor. I would suggest that all of you visit her at where you will not only get to read some great stuff, but she also enjoys sharing some superb videos. The Days With The Undead site is visual and audio packed!

On The Flip Side of Julianne  , Julianne runs the gamut, presenting any number of interesting guests posts and such geared to not only Indie writers, but to all of us who pound away on the keyboards or dip the quill into the ink well.

Julianne also has a tumbler site  . While I'm not too familiar with Tumbler, I was playing around on her site and found it intriguing. I'm able to access her other sites from there with a little finger touch. Tres cool.

I first became acquainted with Julianne's talents through The Sirens Call. This publisher puts out top-notch work. I am honored to be included in one of their upcoming issues. Julianne writes in a flowing, majestic manner, and will grab you from the very beginning of her tales.

That being said, Julianne has a bit of humor in her Canadian bones. When I was complaining about all the snow Wyoming has gotten this April, she jumped back to say that where she lives in Anda gets even more. Turns out her dog jumped on the keyboards and changed Canada to Anda. Hmmn. Should I be believing this?

It sounds strange that a young lady from the north, surrounded by white snow, should write so well of the Dark, but Julianne does it exquisitely. Read her Books and you will see.

Julianne Snow’s Long Bio:

It was while watching Romero's Night of the Living Dead at the tender age of 6 that solidified Julianne’s respect of the Undead. Since that day, she has been preparing herself for the (inevitable) Zombie Apocalypse. While classically trained in all of the ways to defend herself, she took up writing in order to process the desire she now covets; to bestow a second and final death upon the Undead. As the only girl growing up in a family with four children in the Canadian countryside, Julianne needed some form of escape. Her choice was the imaginations of others which only fostered the vibrancy of her own.

Days with the Undead: Book One is her first full-length book, the basis of which can be found in her popular web serial of the same name. You can find Julianne’s short fiction in Childhood Nightmares: Under the Bed, Women of the Living Dead, Twisted Realities: Of Myth and Monstrosity, Carnage: After the End – Volume 1 along with The Sirens Call. In the next year, she has more stories being released in anthologies, including Horrific History (Hazardous Press) and Death by Drive-In, the Coffin Hop Charity Anthology, as well as many others.

Julianne Snow’s Short Bio:

An author of speculative fiction with roots deep in horror, she has pieces of short fiction in publications from Sirens Call Publications, OpenCasket Press as well as forthcoming anthologies from Hazardous Press and the Coffin Hop Charity Anthology.
