I love this little tale of side-show horror. Carnival Freak by Billie Sue Mosiman is a great read! Below is a book description.
They came to see the freak show, but afterwards were offered a special showing for the price of one more admission. They were promised they could look upon The Freak of All Freaks, a monstrosity rarely seen by man.
Five of them dared to take the tour. All of them were hiding dark secrets.
One of them possessed the worst secret of all and wished she had left when she had the chance.
My review is below:
This review is from: CARNIVAL FREAK (Kindle Edition)
The carnival crowd was happy, yet there was more: but only for the
special few. Five brave souls paid another admission to see the freak to
end all freaks. Good for the carnival; not so good for the patrons.
Carnival Freak by Bram Stoker nominated author Billie Sue Mosiman is one
eerie tale of horror sure to grab at goose bump central. Read it before
bed, but not if you're alone. Just warning you. Hee, hee! This tale is blazing good!
